Monica Dorman
What started as a part time job became a full time career. While attending college Monica found a part time job working with a local appraiser. She soon discovered it was her life's calling.
Fast forward to 2018 — after having logged thousands of reports and tens of thousands of hours of experience as an appraiser, it was time to go out on her own. This was the beginning of the Dorman Appraisal Group.
Monica brings many years of experience, not only as an appraiser, but also as a licensed Broker in the State of Texas, to each client, each transaction, and each report. Getting it right isn't everything, it's the ONLY thing. Countless numbers of clients, lenders, private party buyers and sellers, friends, and family have worked with Monica, and they all say the same thing. She's the best there is.
In her spare time, if there ever is any, Monica loves spending time with her two boys, her dogs, and her close friends and extended family — all preferably together on a beach.

Logan Dorman
Logan joined the appraisal world after a long tenure in the Commercial Real Estate realm. Starting his career with Jones Lang LaSalle, he found his way into the corporate world just as he and so many others were told to do out of college. He then quickly realized that something was missing and the typical cubicle life wasn't made for him.
At about the same time he met the first love of his life, Monica, and realized that there may be something more. With her full support he left the corporate world and began an extensive apprenticeship with the Davis Valuation Group of Rockwall, TX, and later became a Certified Residential Appraiser in the State of Texas. Soon after he would join Monica at the Dorman Appraisal Group, and the two would go on to establish the LM Dorman Group — a full service real estate brokerage, appraisal, and property management firm.
In addition to being a fully certified Residential Appraiser, Logan also holds a Texas Real Estate License and is an active member of the Association of Texas Appraisers, holding a distinguished R designation. Logan is passionate about the appraisal industry and is a strong voice and active advocate for the appraisal industry and the independent appraiser.
A proud member of the Texas Aggie Class of 2003 and a lifelong resident of the Dallas area, in his spare time Logan loves spending time with his two boys, fly fishing, hunting, golf, or any other outdoor activity you can think of.
